Can I Pause or Stop Gunbot Once It Starts Trading?

· 2 min read

Sometimes, you might need to temporarily pause or completely stop Gunbot’s trading activities, whether to review settings, adjust strategies, or simply take a break. Here’s a straightforward guide to pausing and resuming trading on Gunbot.

Stopping All Trading Activities

If you need to stop all trading activity, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Main Interface: Launch Gunbot and navigate to the main dashboard.
  2. Select 'Stop Trading': Find the 'Stop Trading' button and click it. This action will stop all active trades and pause any trading strategies.

Once stopped, Gunbot will no longer monitor or execute any trades across all pairs. This is useful when you need to make major adjustments to your overall trading setup.

Pausing Trading for Specific Pairs

Sometimes, you may only want to pause trading for certain pairs while leaving others active. Here’s how to pause trading on specific pairs:

  1. Go to the Trading Settings Page: In Gunbot, navigate to the page where your trading pairs are configured.
  2. Remove the Pair: Identify the pair you want to pause, then remove or disable it from the active list.
  3. Save Your Changes: After removing the pair, save your settings to apply the change.

Removing a pair from the settings pauses trading for that specific asset without affecting other pairs, making it easier to adjust strategies or settings for individual assets.

Resuming Trading

When you’re ready to resume trading, here’s how to restart Gunbot:

  • For All Pairs: Return to the main interface and click 'Start Trading'. This will reactivate trading for all pairs that were previously active.
  • For a Specific Pair: To resume trading for an individual pair, go to the trading settings, re-add or enable the pair, adjust any parameters if needed, and save the changes.

This flexibility allows you to start and stop trading activities easily, adapting to your trading needs as they evolve.
